Smarter wall upgrades for older Scottish homes
With over 20 years’ experience in plastering and rendering, we now focus on practical wall upgrades for older homes across Central Scotland.
As a CorkSol Approved Contractor, we install internal and external cork systems alongside lime plastering and natural insulation. Whether it’s cold walls, condensation-prone rooms or a tired exterior, we’ll explain the options clearly and recommend what makes sense for the job.
For larger commercial and social-housing projects, we work in partnership with CorkSol Contracting ↗

Internal CorkSol installation, Glasgow
The tenants were dealing with recurring mould in this bedroom. We chose CorkSol to improve the cold wall surfaces and help reduce the risk of condensation, while keeping the build-up thin to minimise loss of room space.
The CorkSol coating was applied to the walls, then finished with plaster ready for decoration.
External CorkSol coating, Stirling
The customer wanted to freshen up their exterior without having to repaint every few years. We applied CorkSol over the existing background to give the walls a durable new finish with less ongoing maintenance.
They were also considering an air source heat pump, so improving the walls formed part of their wider plans for the home. Cork’s insulating properties were an added attraction, with the aim of helping reduce heat loss and energy costs over time.
